The Elms Creative brand name originates from the Elms family tree, who have been an established name in Bournemouth, Dorset and the surrounding areas for many years now. Jim Elms (Kirsty’s Grandfather) and John Elms (Kirsty’s Father) both established businesses with their family name incorporated into it. Jim Elms was a very successful property developer who built many houses, blocks of flats and shops in Highcliffe, Christchurch and Bournemouth, Dorset. The family name can be seen on street signs named by Jim Elms, these roads can be found in Highcliffe, Christchurch, Talbot Woods, Bournemouth, Dorset and feature in London and also Kent. These roads were created by Jim, hence the reason why the decision for naming them were solely down to him. Jim’s Entrepreneurial skills were passed down on to his son John Elms, who established a very successful landscape gardening business, following his passion for designing beautiful gardens and maintaining them.

The family drive and entrepreneurial skills passed their way down to the founder of Elms Creative Kirsty Elms. Kirsty started her career in advertising some 20 years ago now, her passion in all areas of Art, Graphic Design, Interior Design and also Fashion Design has helped establish a solid foundation for a Digital Marketing agency. Kirsty’s background helped towards the skills and attributes needed to launch a business offering a variety of services. Her experience in implementing design began with the world renowned video gaming entertainment store GAME. This world-wide leading brand was ideal for building key experience in design and packaging, and building new relationships, hosting exhibitions throughout the country and abroad, Kirsty was the creative behind all of there packaging design.

Kirsty’s other Grandfather Brian Pettengell was also a successful business man establishing the estate agents “Pettengells” in Highcliffe, Christchurch, Dorset, which was an insurance brokers before expanding into an established and reputable estate agency.

Since then the brand has grown and expanded all over Dorset in areas such as New Milton, Hants, Highcliffe and Christchurch, Dorset.

Elms Creative's other Creative Director is Daniel Borella he has many years of experience within the Design industry and is highly qualified in Web Design and Web Development, Film and Video. Daniels experience has enabled him to become the guru in Video Editing, Mobile Apps, SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) and PPC Marketing (Pay Per Click) (AdWords) Specialists, Social Media Marketing (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn), dedicated Web Hosting and manages our ever growing Creative Design Team. Our Creative Team have worked with clients large and small even helping some well known celebrities. We build websites which are fully bespoke, built with a CMS (Content Management Systems) for every single client. Also, our Web Designers always provide a bespoke user guide for every website created, so our clients have peace of mind they know how to use their new website.
